Gibbes Museum of Art to host "Drawing With Friends" exhibition featuring Lawn Sign Activation

At the Gibbes Museum of Art, visitors are invited to write a postcard to SC midterm candidates and elected officials about why art matters. As well, visitors are invited to design mini-lawn signs as part of our "Drawing With Friends" installation, and mount them on a "lawn" (bulletin board) displayed on our first floor Education Center, and to create their own billboard messages using magnetic words on a reflective surface. Participants are encouraged to take a selfie with their reflection in the mirrored surface and post it on social media and hashtag #forfreedoms.
