Waltham teens covered the library's front lawn with a civic art installation representing their hopes for their lives, their communities, their country, and their world. The party included civics games, free snacks, music, and raffles. Teens also helped attendees register to vote and write postcards to future elected officials. Signs will be on display through Election Day on November 5th, 2019.
The Waltham Public Library is a fully-funded community hub, fostering a healthy democratic society by providing a wealth of current informational, educational and recreational resources free of charge to all members of the community.
