A new world originates in ones imagination. Here an explosion reveals a lychee tree planted in the garden of my grandparents home in Taichung City. Our family has kept this space free from the encroachment from the expanding cosmopolitan city that surrounds it. The poetic transformation of light into image reflects a journey from a place of isolation to a place of coexistence.
