Jillian M Rock is a multidisciplinary artist currently pursuing a degree in English Literature at Rutgers University - Newark, where she is also a member of the Honors Living Learning Community. Her current work utilizes documentary photography and printmaking to explore issues surrounding the transition of life to death, addiction and homelessness. She is also working to complete a book of poetry and essays entitled “The Fullness of the Circle”. Her photography has been exhibited at galleries such as Project For Empty Space and Gallery Aferro, located in Newark, NJ. Most recently her poetry has been published in an anthology entitled "A Womb of Violet" and "Journal of NJ Poets - 56th edition". Jillian serves on the Board of Directors for the Newark Print Shop and resides in Newark with her two daughters.
