Description

I am a conceptual artist and activist on the front lines of the tension between the state and the state of black America. My artistic practice involves film photography, creative direction and arts education. My work explores the black identity and seeks to awaken society to the enduring struggles and residual strengths of black people. In addition to my photo practice, I am the Founder and Creative Director of Shooting Without Bullets, a for-impact organization utilizing an art as activism model to develop the artistic voices of black and brown teens and amplify their perspectives on topics of social justice.
