For Freedoms Town Hall at the Barnes Foundation: Where do we go from here?

In partnership with the Barnes Foundation, For Freedoms' Town Hall in Philadelphia was an artist-led conversation designed to explore and expand the concept of civic involvement. Where do we go from here? highlighted the creative act of designing democracy, inspired by a central premise of For Freedoms that art asks questions that can challenge and shape systems of power. Participants were invited to ask and answer questions about the idea and contemporary state of democracy, and what it means to reimagine democracy in this current moment, and engage in discussions about what is needed to reimagine democracy today.
